Ms. Clark teaches weekly poetry classes and fiction and non-fiction classes, as well as a monthly fiction writing workshop. She also teaches literature classes for a special program, called the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Sierra College.

Ms. Clark consults with writers on any type of writing or pre-writing that they might need assistance with, including the preparation of manuscripts for publication and advice on seeking publishers. She has been at the helm of the SJ Clark Literary Agency for over 36 years, and although she is not currently accepting new clients, she will advise and consult with writers.
Areas of Expertise – Services Offered
MEMOIR WRITER- Ms. Clark specializes in writing memoir/biography/autobiography books. She has ghostwritten five memoir books, edited two memoir books, consulted for seven memoir books and been the literary agent for numerous other memoir books. GHOSTWRITER – Ms. Clark has ghostwritten four books for noteworthy clients—including the latest published work of art “Is Anybody Listening: The True Story About the POW/MIAs in the Vietnam War” (2005)—and she continues to help her clients to reach optimal levels of success as a ghostwriter. She has also contributed her ghostwriting services to “Broken in II: A Soldier’s Story of Surviving WWII and PTSD,” which is set to be published in 2011.
EDITOR – Ms. Clark edits fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, poetry, business journals/letters/flyers/reports/brochures.

HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY MANAGEMENT – Because of her background in hotels, restaurants, travel and real estate, Ms. Clark teaches eight-week management courses for hotels, motels, apartments, mobile home parks and self-storage facilities.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS – Ms. Clark particularly enjoys speaking to groups about writing, although she has been asked to discuss such things as the resident ghost who lived in her California Gold Country hotel, her experiences with UFO’s, how to organize a poetry Open Mic program, how a ghostwriter writes a book, and book readings and signings, to name a few.
